1996 The twin-brothers Eric and Simon Vike form a band called Miqi with Martin Wahlberg.
They play only for a year before disbanding.

1999 Eric and Simon get to know Peter Wendel at school and starts a punk act called EA-Guns (refering to LA-Guns).
Martin is added later on.
They perform their first gig at their school hall with just one song - "Back in the U.S.S.R." by The Beatles.

2000 In February EA-Guns do their first gig with original material.
One being "Woman" by Simon which became popular among the crowd.

2001 Martin quits the band.

2002 Martin joins the band for a few gigs.
The band enters the studio in April, without Martin.
Simon comes up with the new name Scumbag for the band.

2003 Martin quits the band again.
In October Scumbag enters the studio once again, this time with some blues influenced songs.

2004 Eric and Peter writes a song called Scavenger Blues and decides to use the name for the band.
Peter start building a recording studio at home and the band starts to record all new material there.

2005 The band focus on writing songs and recording.

2006 Simon leaves the band just 3 weeks before a gig.
Peter and Eric decides to continue but need to find someone to replace Simon the FingerTwister quickly.
Odd Gustafsson, former bass-player and vocalist in the death metal band Harmony joins the band as a temporary member.
In October the trio play a gig which Simon said to be "the best gig by Scavenger" and Odd join the band permanently.

2007 Scavenger Blues records Mother mother, She's a woman, My Baby and Money.
The saga continues...
